Deck overview

This Abzan Food/lifegain deck is built around the Sam-Frodo partnership. Sam makes a Food every combat and discounts Food activations, while Frodo turns lifegain into card draw through the Ring. From the Food economy the deck attacks on two fronts: rapid token multiplication via Peregrin Took, Mondrak, and Elspeth, plus life-loss payoffs in Sanguine Bond, Vito, Mirkwood Bats, and the Cauldron Familiar loop. The preferred combo is Cauldron Familiar with Peregrin Took and Experimental Confectioner, draining the table with the Cat's ETB; the Archangel of Thune + Heroic Feast + Spike Feeder package is the secondary infinite line. Interaction is flexible, but most wins need a setup turn.
