Frogs be Hoppin' by TallFry

Format: Commander

Commander: Clement, the Worrywort

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Simic UG frog-tribal flicker deck helmed by Clement, the Worrywort. The core strategy leverages Clement's ETB to return a smaller creature to hand, then recast it for repeated ETB value-card draw, ramp, counterspells, and life gain. The deck is packed with flicker spells (Displace, Ghostly Flicker, Planar Incision) and frog synergies that provide mana acceleration and board growth. Primary win conditions include overwhelming combat from pumped creatures like Froghemoth and Verdurous Gearhulk, and the alternate condition of Twenty-Toed Toad (20 counters or 20 cards in hand). The deck aims to grind out advantage through incremental loops rather than fast combos, relying on dense creature-based interactions and recasting value pieces.
