Deck overview

This is a mono-red burn deck built around Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might // Temple of Power, whose replacement effect converts every point of noncombat damage from a red source you control into a hit equal to his power. The core plan is to establish a board of cheap "pinger" creatures and enchantments - Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, Electrostatic Field, Impact Tremors, Fiery Inscription - then drop Ojer and fire off a burst of cheap spells to convert a dozen 1-2 damage pings into lethal 4+ damage pings each. Solphim, Mayhem Dominus doubles the payload, and finishers like Grapeshot, Bonus Round, and Valakut Exploration close out the table. The deck also runs attrition pieces like Manabarbs and Sulfuric Vortex that grind every opponent down while Ojer amplifies their upkeep triggers. Ojer's death flips him into Temple of Power, which can transform back once you've dealt 4+ noncombat damage in a turn, giving the commander built-in recursion.
