Doctor strange life gain by user3215975

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Strange, Surgeon

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Mono-White Hero tribal deck, helmed by Doctor Strange, Surgeon, is a life-gain value engine that converts lifegain into a board-wide combat buff. The commander doubles all life gained and, once you sit 10 life above your starting total, grants every creature +2/+2 and vigilance - turning a wide Hero board into a genuine clock. The deck floods the board with cheap Heroes and life-gain triggers (Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, Auriok Champion, Hinterland Sanctifier) to race past 50 life, then finishes with Akroma's Will granting double strike, lifelink, and indestructible. Secondary paths include Captain Marvel, Shooting Star exiling blockers, Nick Fury, Spymaster generating attack-phase value, and Winter Soldier, Reborn Avenger recurring creatures. Delney, Streetwise Lookout doubles the small-creature triggers that power the engine. This is a resilient, grindy combat deck with no fast combo line, relying on incremental life and board advantage.
