Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir flash tempo strategy built around Alela, Cunning Conqueror. It operates almost entirely on opponents' turns, holding up mana for reactive counterspells, removal, and flash creatures. Casting spells during opponents' turns triggers Alela to create 1/1 flying Faerie Rogue tokens. When these Faeries deal combat damage, they goad opposing creatures, forcing opponents to attack one another while keeping your life total safe. The deck converts this board presence into a win through tribal anthems, extra turns with Notorious Throng, or transforming the swarm into 4/4 flying Dragons with Shadow Puppeteers. With high interaction density, strong card selection, and multiple flash engines, it excels at controlling the tempo of the game while gradually chipping away at life totals.
