Deck overview

This Azorius deck is a group hug and draw-matters engine commanded by King T'Challa // Black Panther, Hope Enduring. The primary game plan accelerates card draw for the entire table using symmetric pieces like Howling Mine, Kami of the Crescent Moon, and Dictate of Kruphix. King T'Challa breaks symmetry by drawing a card whenever an opponent draws their second card each turn, netting four or more extra cards every turn rotation. With a continually stocked hand and ramp from Smothering Tithe and Gleaming Splendor, the deck establishes a pillowfort with Ghostly Prison and Propaganda. It closes games on Turn 8 through burst drain from Psychosis Crawler combined with Windfall or Prosperity, an alternate win with Twenty-Toed Toad, or massive combat damage from hand-size scaling beaters like Body of Knowledge and Toothy, Imaginary Friend.
