Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Dwarf tribal aggressive strategy led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The game plan focuses on curving out with efficient low-cost Dwarves on the opening turns, then casting Thorin to convert creature deployment into Treasure production. As Treasure tokens accumulate, Thorin's static ability scales the power of the entire team, turning small utility creatures into lethal combat threats. The deck supports this aggressive core with tribal equipment synergies, goad effects to keep opposing blockers out of the way, and high-impact finishers like Taunt from the Rampart and Shared Animosity. While the deck excels at generating board pressure and burst combat damage, its win condition depends on sustaining creature presence across multiple combat steps. As a result, sequencing protection spells against mass board wipes is crucial to maintaining tempo and closing out the game across consecutive turn cycles.
