Deck overview

This Simic deck leverages Zimone, Mystery Unraveler to cheat game-ending permanents onto the battlefield well ahead of curve. The early turns focus on accelerating mana through dense 1-2 CMC ramp spells and fetchlands. Once Zimone is deployed, triggering landfall twice in a single turn allows you to manifest dread on the first trigger and immediately turn that face-down card face up on the second trigger. This bypasses the casting costs of massive game pieces like Omniscience, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Void Winnower, and Worldspine Wurm. In addition to overwhelming creature beats, the deck incorporates the classic Pickles stax lock with Brine Elemental and Vesuvan Shapeshifter to completely deny opponents their untap steps. Backed by free counterspells, land recursion, and uncounterable channel lands, the deck delivers high resilience and oppressive board control.
