Deck overview

This is an Esper control deck built around Y'shtola, Night's Blessed as a drain and draw engine. You cast noncreature spells with mana value 3 or greater to deal 2 to each opponent and gain 2, and you draw when any player loses 4+ life in a turn. The deck wins by grinding incremental life loss, not by combo. It controls the board with heavy counters and removal, draws many cards, and stacks passive drains from Bloodchief Ascension and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse until opponents run out of life. Y'shtola is the main engine but the deck has many independent threats that keep pressure without her.
