Deck overview

This Esper deck leverages Splinter, Radical Rat to double every triggered ability on attacking Ninjas, supercharging ninjutsu and sneak mechanics into a rapid combat-tempo clock. The early turns focus on deploying low-cost evasive threats before casting Splinter on curve. Once operational, Splinter's unblockable activation ensures that heavy hitters such as Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow, Shredder, Shadow Master, and Dark Leo & Shredder reliably connect, triggering twice per combat. The resulting resource disparity and table-wide life halving quickly shred life totals, culminating in a lethal combat strike on Turn 6 backed by counterspells and Akroma's Will. While lacking stax and explosive fast mana, the deck compensates with dense card flow, flexible reactive removal, and resilient alternative attackers.
