Deck overview

Azula, Cunning Usurper heads a Dimir flicker deck that turns repeated enter-the-battlefield triggers into card advantage, creature control, and eventually a deterministic infinite-mana combo. The primary plan is to assemble Peregrine Drake, Archaeomancer, and a two-target flicker spell to loop mana and then use Gray Merchant of Asphodel as the kill. Azula serves as an optional value and acceleration engine: she exiles an opponent's creature and graveyard card on entry, and her Firebending mana helps pay for instant-speed flickers during combat. The deck is fully functional without her, with expensive demon tutors and recursion forming the backbone of the combo assembly.
