Deck overview

The deck uses King T'Challa // Black Panther, Hope Enduring as a repeatable draw engine. Pairing the commander with Howling Mine, Dictate of Kruphix, or Temple Bell causes a commander draw whenever each player reaches their second card of the turn. With a normal four-player table, that produces about four extra cards per rotation. Those cards support Psychosis Crawler, Chasm Skulker, Shabraz, the Skyshark, Dream Trawler, and the commander’s eventual transformation. The deck has useful spot removal, counters, and Teferi's Protection, but it is not built to protect a compact win. Approach of the Second Sun is a possible alternate win, yet it must be found, cast twice, and supported by enough draw and mana. Laboratory Maniac has a similar access problem. The deck therefore creates strong recurring advantage but lacks a reliable ordinary finish or lockout.
