Valko Indorian Oil Counters by jml202

Format: Commander

Commander: Valko Indorian

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a five-color Phyrexian value midrange deck enabled by Valko Indorian's rulebreaker, which lets the 99 run Phyrexian cards of any color plus any basics. The plan is to deploy high-impact Phyrexian threats-praetors, infect/toxic bodies, and oil/proliferate engines-then close through poison counters or overwhelming combat. Valko Indorian is a modest 4-mana anthem that gives your Phyrexians menace and lifelink; he is helpful but not the engine. Primary wins come from infect/toxic pressure (Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, Inkmoth Nexus, Skrelv, Defector Mite) backed by dense proliferate, backed up by praetor stompy (Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Sheoldred, Whispering One) and life-payment engines (K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, Bolas's Citadel). Reanimation (Entomb, Buried Alive, Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy) cheats the high curve into play early.
