Deck overview

Braids, Arisen Nightmare helms a mono-black aristocrats and artifact combo deck designed to generate overwhelming card advantage while establishing lethal infinite loops. Braids turns disposable tokens and cheap artifacts into card draw and life loss on every end step. The deck's primary path to victory involves looping Gravecrawler with sacrifice outlets like Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader alongside drain engines such as Marionette Apprentice or Ayara, First of Locthwain. Secondary lines generate infinite mana through Basalt Monolith and Rings of Brighthearth to fuel a lethal Torment of Hailfire, or draw the library using Mystic Forge with Sensei's Divining Top and Aetherflux Reservoir.
