Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a midrange Equipment combat deck helmed by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. The plan is to deploy cheap Equipment and cost-reducers, cast Cloud, and immediately start attacking thanks to his haste. Each attack draws cards equal to the number of equipped attackers and, once Cloud reaches power 7+, floods the board with Treasures. The 99 is packed with Final Fantasy legends and classic Equipment enablers that either tutor, recur, or free-equip gear, push multiple bodies to critical mass, and chain extra combats. Primary wins come from multi-combat turns powered by Genji Glove and Tifa, Martial Artist, often amplified by Sephiroth, Fallen Hero's mass pump or Vincent, Vengeful Atoner's table-wide damage. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through relentless, well-protected combat damage.
