Deck overview

This Azorius Blink deck pairs Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward with Candlekeep Sage to turn exile-and-return triggers into overwhelming card advantage and a massive army of 1/1 Soldier tokens. Early turns focus on developing mana rocks and low-cost entering-the-battlefield permanents like Spirited Companion and Wall of Omens. Once Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, he tucks these permanents safely away while generating tokens and drawing cards through Candlekeep Sage. Cheap instant blink spells like Cloudshift, Displace, and Eerie Interlude allow the deck to repeatedly reset Abdel, creating new waves of Soldier tokens and triggering recycled ETB abilities. Disruptive creatures such as Lavinia of the Tenth and Stonehorn Dignitary keep aggressive opponents at bay. The deck secures victory by overwhelming the board with tokens, boosting the team with Moonshaker Cavalry, or digging rapidly toward Approach of the Second Sun.
