Commander: Lazav, Wearer of Faces

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Dimir Clue/graveyard value deck built around Lazav, Wearer of Faces. The primary plan is to attack with Lazav, exile a key creature from a graveyard, and sacrifice a Clue to make Lazav a copy of that creature. The deck's hidden commander is Phage the Untouchable, who is never cast or reanimated; instead, Lazav copies her and wins combat against a player. Secondary plans use Ancient Brass Dragon and Scion of Darkness to recur threats, Senator Peacock to turn all artifacts into Clues, and Persuasive Interrogators to finish with poison. The deck is not a fast combo deck; it wins through incremental Clue advantage, then a decisive copied swing.
