Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce leads a focused Mono-Green Bear Tribal Aggro deck that leverages low-cost Bears, changelings, and explosive anthems to overwhelm opponents. The strategy opens by deploying 1-mana acceleration like Wild Growth and Elvish Mystic alongside efficient 2-mana Bears like Ayula, Queen Among Bears, Metallic Mimic, and Mother Bear. On Turn 4, resolving Beorn the Fierce establishes a dominant board presence, immediately granting trample counters, providing a +2/+2 tribal anthem, and drawing two cards each combat. The deck accelerates into a lethal clock on Turn 5 using massive force multipliers like Unnatural Growth, Become the Avalanche, or Titania's Command, dealing 30 to 50 trample damage per turn. While the deck boasts rapid card draw and reliable recovery through backup anthems like Ruxa, Patient Professor and Muraganda Petroglyphs, its reliance on combat steps and absence of stack interaction leaves it exposed to sweepers and fast combo strategies.
