LATHRIL DECK by Synnoda

Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Lathril, Blade of the Elves to execute a fast, aggressive Elfball strategy. The primary game plan opens with efficient 1-CMC mana dorks to deploy Lathril and scaling mana engines by Turn 3. On Turn 4, Lathril attacks through blockers using menace, producing Elf Warrior tokens that instantly multiply with cards like Elven Ambush and Elvish Promenade. The deck converts this wide creature board into a lethal Turn 5 finish via decisive overrun effects like Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, or Tyvar, the Pummeler. It also retains life-drain reach through Lathril's tap ability and Shaman of the Pack. While highly explosive and resilient to targeted interaction through instant-speed hexproof spells, the deck remains vulnerable to mass exile wipes and lacks stax pieces to slow down faster opposing combos.
