Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Werewolf tribal aggro deck led by Tovolar, Dire Overlord. It curves out with low-cost Werewolves on the opening turns, casts Tovolar on Turn 3, and attacks to immediately draw cards. On Turn 4, Tovolar transforms the entire pack into nighttime Werewolves, greatly increasing their power and toughness. The deck turns combat damage into sustained card flow, refilling the hand to deploy larger threats like Tovolar's Huntmaster and cast pump spells. Because the strategy relies completely on creature combat across multiple turns, it offers steady pressure but remains vulnerable to board wipes and fast combo decks.
