Deck overview

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice is a lifegain/token deck that uses populate and life-triggered engines to outlast opponents. The fastest closed line is the Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista machine gun, and Heliod acts as a hidden commander. A secondary token-populate plan with Doubling Season/Parallel Lives, Elspeth, and Queen Allenal creates huge boards for Overwhelming Stampede. Life gain from Soul Warden/Suture Priest/Trostani fuels Felidar Sovereign, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Storm Herd. The commander is a value engine rather than a necessary combo piece.
