Deck overview

This Gruul deck uses Roxanne, Starfall Savant to generate explosive mana and recurring board control. Roxanne creates Meteorite tokens whenever she enters the battlefield or attacks, dealing two damage to any target while acting as mana rocks. Crucially, Roxanne doubles the mana produced whenever any artifact token is tapped for mana, turning Treasures, Heartwood tokens, and Meteorites into high-output mana engines. The deck accelerates Roxanne onto the battlefield by Turn 4 using efficient one- and two-mana ramp spells. Once established, the massive surplus of mana fuels game-ending threats like Crackle with Power, Displaced Dinosaurs, and token-duplicating engines such as Doubling Season, Roaming Throne, and Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink. Versatile interaction and robust protection spells defend the board against opposing threats while Meteorite triggers continuously clear opposing utility creatures. The deck reliably closes games on Turn 6 through overwhelming Dinosaur token combat or lethal burn.
