Deck overview

This is a highly-tuned Elfball combo/aggro deck helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The primary game plan is to accelerate rapidly with 1-drop mana dorks (Llanowar Elves, Elvish Mystic, Fyndhorn Elves, etc.), deploy Lathril to generate an army of tokens on combat damage, and then pivot into either an overrun kill with Craterhoof Behemoth + Finale of Devastation or an infinite-mana combo line using Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination with a mana dork that taps for 3+ green. The deck also packs an alternative win via Lathril's activated ability-draining each opponent for 10 life by tapping ten untapped Elves. With 26 realizable infinite-combination lines (the vast majority living entirely in the 99), a mana curve 2.40, and a massive redundancy of mana-producing Elves, this deck can play essentially the same game without ever casting its commander.
