Deck overview

Teval, the Balanced Scale pilots a self-mill/lands-matter/reanimator shell that fills the graveyard to exploit landfall triggers, graveyard recursion, and creature-based combos. The primary path to victory is assembling one of several infinite loops - most notably Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar with a Zombie outlet, or The Gitrog Monster + Dakmor Salvage + a discard outlet to draw the deck into Laboratory Maniac. A secondary combat finisher exists in Craterhoof Behemoth backed by a wide board of Zombie Druid tokens and recurring land creatures. The commander provides incremental value through attack-triggered milling and token generation from graveyard exile events, but the deck's engine lives primarily in the 99, making it resilient to commander removal.
