Death and Taxes by Harmacist

Format: Commander

Commander: Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder is a treasure-fueled sacrifice deck whose commander is both the engine and the finisher. The primary plan is to grow Evereth with +1/+1 counters by sacrificing artifacts and creatures, then kill the whole table with its death trigger, a huge Chandra's Ignition, or a Kediss-assisted attack. The hidden commander is Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar: it turns one combat hit into damage at every opponent. Secondary paths include Revel in Riches, Juri/Atsushi/Goldspan beats, and a full recursion package. The most compact win is the Animation Module plus Pitiless Plunderer loop, which makes Evereth arbitrarily large; the payoff is either a sacrifice spell or an equipment-cleared combat step.
