This Abzan deck utilizes Doran, Besieged by Time to turn high-toughness, low-power creatures into formidable combat threats. Doran discounts creatures whose toughness exceeds their power and grants them a +X/+X bonus whenever they attack or block, where X equals the difference between their power and toughness. Supported by low-cost ramp spells and Treefolk tribal synergies, the deck accelerates Doran onto the battlefield on Turn 3 and begins deploying undercosted beaters like Indomitable Ancients and Tree of Redemption on Turn 4.
