Deck overview

This is a Naya token-combo deck helmed by Baylen, the Haymaker, built to exploit Baylen's ability to turn tokens into mana, cards, and a finishing pump. The primary game plan is to generate a critical mass of tokens-via Ocelot Pride, Academy Manufactor, Peregrin Took, and other producers-then either win through the Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Village Bell-Ringer infinite hasty-combat loop or through exponential token multiplication (e.g., Ocelot Pride with ascend). A dense tutor suite (Eladamri's Call, Worldly Tutor, Enlightened Tutor, Chord of Calling, Finale of Devastation, etc.) lets the deck find combo pieces with remarkable speed and reliability. The deck packs premium fast mana (Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Lotus Petal, Chrome Mox, Mox Amber) and a low average mana value of 1.93, launching its game plan earlier than most Naya builds. An extensive protection layer-including Silence, Ranger-Captain of Eos, Heroic Intervention, and Veil of Summer-ensures the winning turn is insulated from interaction. Backup plans include generating immense combat advantage through Baylen's trample pump and recurring value from Shigeki, Jukai Visionary and Samwise Gamgee.
