Deck overview

This is a five-color legendary-value deck centered on Jodah, the Unifier. The commander does not trigger when cast from the command zone, so the key sequence is to deploy Jodah, the Unifier, then cast a legendary spell from hand. That spell can reveal and cast a lower-mana legendary permanent for free. Reki, the History of Kamigawa, Shanid, Sleepers' Scourge, Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, and Atraxa, Grand Unifier turn the sequence into sustained card and board advantage. Ramp from Sol Ring, Delighted Halfling, Nature's Lore, and Three Visits supports a turn-5 operational setup in favorable ordinary draws. The deck can produce a large threatening board around turn 6, with additional pressure from Aragorn, the Uniter, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Etali, Primal Conqueror. Its main weakness is that it lacks a compact, reliable table kill. Expensive threats, tapped lands, and exposure to removal keep it in the general high-power range rather than cEDH.
