Deck overview

This is a Grixis silver-bordered deck helmed by Vorthos, Steward of Myth, built for spectacle rather than speed. Vorthos names a Magic character on entry and discounts every spell that mentions or depicts it, so choosing Baron Von Count turns the alternate-win villain into a one-mana play, while naming "Infernal Spawn of Evil" shaves the big black demons. The game plan is layered chaos: Johnny, Combo Player tutors key pieces, Oracle of the Alpha conjures the Power Nine, and Yet Another Aether Vortex turns the top of the library into free hasty permanents. Wins arrive through Baron Von Count's doom-counter loop, a 60/60 Animate Library, Summon the Pack booster flooding, or oversized threats like Infinity Elemental and Infernius Spawnington III, Esq.. Card flow depends on minigames like Rings a Bell and My First Tome. A hilarious, late-game casual list whose best lines are slow but memorable. (The unresolved B.O.B. with no available text is excluded from this evaluation.)
