Auntie Ool, Cursewretch b4 by Shmontoya

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Auntie Ool, Cursewretch helms a Jund attrition deck centered on -1/-1 counters, turning counter distribution into card advantage and continuous life drain. The primary game plan controls the board by placing -1/-1 counters on opposing threats with cards like Midnight Banshee, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Black Sun's Zenith, steadily whittling down opponents through Auntie Ool and Lasting Tarfire. To secure a definitive victory, the deck leverages synergistic loops such as Blowfly Infestation paired with Flourishing Defenses or Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, generating infinite creature deaths and counter placements that instantly drain the table with the commander or Grave Venerations.
