Deck overview

This Golgari deck is commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, focusing on token multiplication, sacrifice synergies, and aristocrat drain finishes. By replacing every token creation event with additional 1/1 green Squirrels, the deck rapidly builds an overwhelming board presence from ordinary game actions like creating Treasures, Clues, and Foods. The primary path to victory involves assembling Chatterfang alongside Pitiless Plunderer to execute an infinite loop of death triggers and mana generation, which instantly drains all opponents when paired with pieces like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Mirkwood Bats. Alternatively, the deck can overrun opponents in combat using Craterhoof Behemoth or Beastmaster Ascension. Chatterfang also doubles as a versatile creature-control engine, converting excess tokens into targeted -X/-X removal to police opposing boards at instant speed.
