TAYAM by BrokeToasterOven

Format: Commander

Commander: Tayam, Luminous Enigma

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This Abzan counters deck builds around Tayam, Luminous Enigma as a repeatable recursion engine that turns vigilance counters into reanimation for permanents that cost 3 or less. The primary plan assembles infinite mana and counter loops with Devoted Druid plus Vizier of Remedies or Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, then wins with Walking Ballista, Blasting Station, or Blood Artist. A second path uses Ashnod's Altar with Young Wolf and Strangleroot Geist to loop Tayam for infinite death triggers. Mikaeus acts as a hidden commander, enabling wins without Tayam. Ad Nauseam plus Teferi's Protection provides a draw engine that refills the hand while protecting a low life total.
