Commander: Tidus, Yuna's Guardian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This +1/+1 counter deck led by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian uses the commander's counter-movement and cheer ability to fuel card draw and proliferation. The primary plan is to amass a tall board of modified creatures by stacking multiple counter accumulation, doubling, and synergy effects (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Conclave Mentor, Doubling Season, etc.), then dominate through combat damage, a huge Walking Ballista, or Simic Ascendancy. Secondary paths include using Luminous Broodmoth loops, the Sun's counter redistribution, and Korana's double-strike triggers. The deck does not rely on a secret commander; both faces of Tidus are the engine: the front face is used for combat and card advantage, while the cheer trigger is consistently available.
