Deck overview

This Orzhov Angel deck is a graveyard-reanimator built around Shilgengar, Sire of Famine. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with powerful Angels through self-mill (Ripples of Undeath, Renegade Reaper, Angel of Suffering), then sacrifice creatures to make Blood tokens and activate Shilgengar to return the whole graveyard at once. Secondary paths include traditional reanimation spells (Victimize, Karmic Guide) and token/drain payoffs (Glass-Cast Heart, Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice). The commander is the engine; without him the deck falls back to slower, single-target recursion and Angel combat. It can also pull off an alternate drain loop with Glass-Cast Heart and many Blood tokens.
