Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Naya combo and aristocrats strategy centered on Marath, Will of the Wild. Marath serves as a versatile Swiss Army knife in the command zone, capable of distributing +1/+1 counters, creating Elemental creature tokens, and dealing direct damage at instant speed. The primary game plan seeks to assemble a three-piece infinite loop using Marath alongside a mana engine such as Mana Echoes or Ashnod's Altar and a counter amplifier like Hardened Scales, Ivy Lane Denizen, or Cathars' Crusade. Once assembled, the loop generates infinite colorless mana, infinite creature tokens, and infinite direct damage to close the game immediately on Turn 5. As a backup plan, the list leverages token swarms powered by Avenger of Zendikar, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Jetmir, Nexus of Revels for overwhelming combat overruns. The deck includes robust protection in Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar and Flare of Fortitude to safeguard its combo turns.
