This is an Orzhov life-drain deck built around paying life and converting every subsequent point of lifegain into table-wide damage. Cecil, Dark Knight // Cecil, Redeemed Paladin is a role player rather than the engine: the front side's deathtouch attacks help the deck reach its half-life threshold and flip, while the back side's lifelink and "other attacking creatures gain indestructible" makes the combat step safer. The primary kill is a web of Sanguine Bond / Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose / Enduring Tenacity paired with Exquisite Blood / Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Secondary lines use Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Wound Reflection, Archfiend of Despair, and life-total spells like Repay in Kind and Pox Plague.
