Deck overview

The deck uses Sai, Master Thopterist to turn artifact spells into flying Thopter tokens. Those tokens support card draw through Sai's sacrifice ability, crew vehicles, and combat payoffs such as Master of Etherium, Chief of the Foundry, Steel Overseer, Nettlecyst, and Kappa Cannoneer. Cheap artifacts, Sol Ring, cost reducers, and affinity make the deck capable of strong midgame turns. Its main weakness is access: there are no tutors, so the commander, draw engine, payoff, and protection do not reliably arrive together. The deck can usually establish a meaningful artifact board around turn 5 and a must-answer combat engine around turn 7, but it does not have a compact or deterministic finish. Interaction is broad but expensive, while protection is sparse. The result is a functional casual-to-mid-power artifact strategy that wins through accumulated board presence rather than a combo or lock.
