Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger and burn strategy helmed by Judith, Carnage Connoisseur. The game plan revolves around leveraging Judith's static trigger to transform cheap, one-sided red damage spells into full-board deathtouch wipes while simultaneously gaining massive chunks of life. Once opposing creature strategies are suppressed, the deck deploys a dense suite of spellslinger pingers such as Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, Coruscation Mage, and Tor Wauki the Younger. Chaining low-cost cantrips, burn spells, and flashback engines like Return the Past and Backdraft Hellkite rapidly drains the table. Supported by 11 low-cost mana rocks, the deck consistently establishes its commander on Turn 4 and reaches critical board control onset on Turn 5, steadily depleting opposing life totals to close out the game by Turn 8. While weak to enchantment-based strategies and exile removal, its creature suppression and independent burn redundancy make it resilient against creature-heavy pods.
