AUNTIE OOL CURSEWRETCH by thedevil613

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Jund (-1/-1 counter and persist combo) deck helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch is a fast, multi-line combo machine. The primary game plan is to assemble an infinite loop-either through persist creatures (Murderous Redcap, Putrid Goblin) with a +1/+1 counter source (Grumgully, the Generous) and a sacrifice outlet, or through the Chain of Smog/Witherbloom Apprentice drain combo. The commander acts as a card-draw engine when you place -1/-1 counters on your own creatures (via Yawgmoth, Thran Physician or Devoted Druid), refueling the hand to find more pieces. The deck also packs rituals, mana dorks, and a dense tutor suite to accelerate the win. Secondary paths include Dualcaster Mage + Chain of Smog loops, Altar of Dementia mill, and Balthor the Defiled mass reanimation.
