Deck overview

Gluntch is a group-hug enabler rather than a true finisher; the deck uses its end-step modes to put +1/+1 counters on its own creature while donating draw and Treasures to opponents as peace offerings. Sergeant John Benton is the de facto hidden commander: trample, haste, and card draw on hit make it the ideal target for counter multipliers. The rest is a pillow-fort shell, using Ghostly Prison, Windborn Muse, Nils, and Orzhov Advokist to turn aggression away long enough for a giant Sergeant or a Felidar Retreat token army to close out. Gluntch can point its draw or Treasure mode at itself when counters are not immediately needed.
