Format: Commander

Commander: The First Sliver

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This five-color Sliver deck is built to use The First Sliver as a cascade engine and top-end threat. The primary plan is to cast the commander as early as possible, let its cascade trigger chain cheap Slivers, then turn every subsequent Sliver spell into card advantage. Secondary paths use Sliver Legion, Megantic Sliver, Coat of Arms, and Chronicle of Victory to turn a wide board into a one-combat kill, with Galerider/Cloudshredder/Shifting Sliver providing evasion. The commander is not a hidden alternative win line; it accelerates the deck and is protected by Crystalline Sliver, Root Sliver, and Cavern of Souls. Hivelord, Hibernation Sliver, and Quick Sliver add resilience, while Mirror Entity and Morophon smooth costs and create snowballing boards.
