Commander: Mendicant Core, Guidelight

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is an Azorius artifact-value deck helmed by Mendicant Core, Guidelight, built to flood the board with artifact creatures and tokens, then leverage the commander's max-speed copy ability to double up on the most impactful artifact spells. The deck leans on cost reduction (Etherium Sculptor, Foundry Inspector, Cloud Key, Inspiring Statuary) and improvise to chain multiple artifacts per turn, while token engines (Sai, Master Thopterist, Thopter Spy Network, Simulacrum Synthesizer, Oltec Matterweaver) build a critical mass. Primary wins are combat-oriented - Cyberdrive Awakener or Rise and Shine animating the whole artifact board, or a giant Master of Etherium/Darksteel Juggernaut - with Mechanized Production as an alternate condition. The "Start your engines!" speed mechanic (Amonkhet Raceway, Muraganda Raceway) gates the commander's copy ability behind opponents losing life, making this a midrange deck that wins through incremental value rather than a fast combo line.
