New Untitled Deck by lumberjackstudio

Format: Commander

Commander: Jon Irenicus, Shattered One

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jon Irenicus, Shattered One leads a blue-black 'bad gifts' attrition deck. The primary plan is to play drawback creatures, donate them on each end step, and let goaded, un-sacrificable threats attack the rest of the table while every attack draws a card. Secondary paths include one-shot donation spells, half-life drain from Ebonblade Reaper and Unstoppable Slasher, and slow controller clocks from Archfiend of the Dross or Phyrexian Vatmother. The deck is built around Jon's trigger as both the donation engine and card-draw engine; no hidden commander exists. It wins through long combat attrition and life-total manipulation, backed by counterspells, tax effects, and pillow-fort defense to stop donated creatures from being aimed back at its pilot.
