Deck 5 by user3900686

Format: Commander

Commander: Leonardo, the Balance and Splinter, the Mentor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Leonardo, the Balance and Splinter, the Mentor are a Partner-Character pair, giving the deck a token-and-blink core. Splinter turns every blink or death of a nontoken creature into a Mutagen token, while Leonardo lets each wave of tokens put +1/+1 counters on your whole team. The primary plan is to flood the board with Soldier, Spirit, and Ninja tokens, doubled by Elspeth, Storm Slayer, then win one large combat. Endless Foot Assault is the key engine, creating attacking Ninjas each combat. Blink spells double as protection and as Splinter triggers. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins by making a wide, pumped board and turning it sideways.
