Deck overview

This deck is a 4-color (non-green) Superfriends and Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan establishes early mana velocity through 2-CMC artifacts, casts Jace on Turn 4, and uses his -3 loyalty ability on Turn 5 to sacrifice a cheap creature or token into a catastrophic bomb such as Blightsteel Colossus, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, or Archon of Cruelty. Backing this fast cheat plan is an extensive planeswalker engine featuring 19 planeswalkers, loyalty doublers like Oath of Teferi and The Chain Veil, and heavy pillowfort combat taxes including Norn's Annex and Onakke Oathkeeper. If the polymorph line is answered, the deck effortlessly transitions into a traditional planeswalker control shell, controlling the board with asymmetric sweepers like Farewell and closing the game out through Dragon swarm attacks with Sarkhan the Masterless.
