Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Abigale, Eloquent First-Year to turn high-risk, under-costed creatures into dominant aerial threats. By targeting cards like Lupine Prototype, Phyrexian Soulgorger, and Rotting Regisaur, Abigale permanently erases their detrimental upkeeps, attack restrictions, and discard triggers while granting them flying, first strike, and lifelink. A robust package of cheap instant-speed flicker spells allows you to re-trigger Abigale to neutralize new threats or protect your board from targeted removal. As massive lifelink beaters swing through the air, your life total climbs rapidly, creating an insurmountable life buffer while draining opponents. Damning Verdict acts as a devastating asymmetric board wipe, destroying all opposing creatures while leaving your counter-modified beaters untouched. While vulnerable to mass sweepers and lacking stack countermagic, the deck presents relentless tempo, immense combat stats, and a resilient midrange plan.
