Deck overview

This deck is an aristocratic midrange and control engine commanded by Vraska, the Silencer. Its primary strategy revolves around systematically stripping opponents of creatures through symmetrical edicts, targeted removal, and deathtouch combat trades, while breaking parity by paying one mana with Vraska to reanimate those dying nontoken creatures as Treasure artifacts. This conversion generates massive mana acceleration and fuels high-impact payoffs such as Massacre Wurm, Dictate of Erebos, and Rise of the Dark Realms. The deck incorporates multiple layers of life-drain triggers from Blood Artist, Poison-Tip Archer, and Agent of the Iron Throne, steadily eroding opposing life totals as the board is cleared. While the deck possesses oppressive control against creature-heavy strategies, it lacks stack-based countermagic against non-creature combo decks and relies heavily on natural card draw and board presence to close out games across two combat cycles after establishing board dominance on Turn 6.
