Deck overview

This Golgari landfall/lands-matter deck is helmed by the background pair of Erinis, Gloom Stalker and Scion of Halaster. Erinis reanimates a land from the graveyard each time it attacks, while Scion turns every first draw each turn into a two-card selection that also fills the graveyard. The deck's core strategy is to self-mill aggressively, recur lands from the graveyard, and trigger landfall effects for value and ultimate board presence. The primary win condition is the The Gitrog Monster + Dakmor Salvage + Skirge Familiar combo, which generates infinite black mana and draws the entire library, then closes via Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord or a massive Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar sacrifice. Scapeshift into Field of the Dead provides a secondary combat win.
