Katsumasa, the Animator | Toy Story by swatreddot

Format: Commander

Commander: Katsumasa, the Animator

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Katsumasa, the Animator turns spare artifacts into flying beaters while stacking +1/+1 counters during upkeep. The deck's primary plan is a mono-blue artifact shell that ramps with cheap rocks, draws with enchantments like Rhystic Study and Thopter Spy Network, and finishes by mass-animating a counters-heavy board via Cyberdrive Awakener or Rise and Shine. Urza, Lord High Artificer acts as a secondary build-around, generating a huge Construct and converting artifacts to blue mana. The approach is incremental, not combo-based; the final swing typically arrives after several turns of accumulating counters and artifacts.
