Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul aggro and Voltron strategy led by Wolverine, Best There Is, focusing on combat damage doubling, +1/+1 counter growth, and fight spells. Wolverine's ability to double all damage he deals allows him to scale rapidly into a lethal commander damage threat with modest power enhancements. The deck supports this plan using equipment like Vibranium Strike Gauntlets, massive stat granters like Raised by Giants, and synergistic fight cards such as Thing Swing and Band Together that simultaneously trigger Wolverine's counter growth and clear blockers. Standalone heavy hitters like Ancient Bronze Dragon and Red Hulk serve as reliable secondary win conditions. While the deck boasts high physical resilience against destruction through built-in regeneration, it lacks dense stack protection, search tutors, and proactive stax elements, making it an honest, interactive combat deck best suited for casual mid-power tables.
